JOHN McLEAN P.E., LSSBB:
John McLean is a Professional Engineer with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M and holds multiple patents. He owned and managed an engineering and product development company for 30 years. Throughout his career, he has led design teams both domestically and internationally, overseeing project budgets exceeding $30 million.
He has extensive experience in designing control systems for large submersible pumps and has developed the hardware and software needed to interface an electronic theodolite with a portable data collector. Additionally, he served as the engineering manager for a design team focused on land rigs, specifically working on drill rigs, diesel generator subsystems, and drilling fluid processing and handling systems.

Q. Does the H2DZL use a hydrogen tank?
A. No! H2DZL generates hydrogen on-demand using deionized water. It is as easy as just adding water.
Q. What kind of water does the generator need to work?
The H2DZL needs as little as 1 gallon of deionized water
Q. Is it hard to install?
A. Nope! Just 6 bolts, 2 wires and a tube. It even comes with a universal mounting bracket which is especially useful for tight installations.
Q. What size engine does the H2DZL work on?
A. If it runs on diesel, H2DZL will improve it. We have the ability to modify the H2DZL to meet any engine size. Shoot us an email and let’s discuss your needs.
Q. How does the H2DZL handle severe weather conditions?
A. Like a charm! The H2DZL is designed to stay cool when it’s hot and warm when it’s cold outside.
Q. How often will I need to refill the tank?
A. It depends on the operational hours. An 18 wheeler using the standard tank and running 22 hours a day at max output will need to be refilled about every 2 weeks. Custom tank sizes are available for extended times.
Q. Where is H2DZL made?
A. We are a proud US based company with our manufacturing and distribution center located in Houston, TX
Q. Why is the tank plastic?
Great question – it would have been cheaper and easier to use other materials such as steel, the H2DZL was designed to run a minimum of 10 years and plastic has the longest lifespan.
Q. Will hydrogen hurt my engine?
Not likely. Engine blocks are made of cast iron which resists hydrogen embrittlement.
